R.S.V.P for This

The hunters left with but we remained with Ralph, Piggy and Simon. All the others were nowhere to be found. If they didn’t appear soon the shifts for the fire would be tedious and things around here would be changed. Piggy complained about order being lost and we started to worry.

Suddenly as we were feeding the fire, a stampede of savages stole half burnt branches of fire and fled back. Only a couple of them remained and Jack was with them. We were hidden behind a palm tree because the thought that it could have been the beast and not them was the thing we most worried about. Jack invited us to the feast they were having tonight and said that if we wanted, he might consider letting us join his tribe, but we didn’t want to, what could be the consequences of such actions? We weren’t willing to find out.
